I will always remember where I was on 9/11. Like those of the generation before me that recall their exact location the moment of the moon landing or when hearing of the death of JFK, I have a vivid recollection of the images from that day. I wasn’t directly affected. And, I will never assume that my remembrance is greater than those that were. But, today, on the fourth anniversary, it all still seems very real. Looking into the eyes of my two kids during breakfast this morning, I had a brief thought. Hopefully their generation won’t also have an anniversary for which the memories are painful.
