Forget what you’ve heard and read about this being a southern tradition. That’s ancient history. And, don’t think that the “frying” makes it unhealthy. It doesn’t. This is the quickest and easist way to cook a bird for Thanksgiving. And, I will say it tastes as good or better than any oven cooked variety.





Don’t let the texture and color of the outer surface distract you either. Inside is the tenderest and juiciest turkey meat you will ever have. And, THIS obviously didn’t happen for us.
