I had the pleasure of observing a retired couple on an airplane recently.
They were sitting directly in front of me and across the aisle from each other.
As the plane taxied to the runway, the wife said to the husband – “You go get the car when we land. I’ll get the bags.” The husband said nothing, but nodded his head.
Two hours later, as the plane taxied to the terminal after landing, the wife said to the husband- “You go get the car when we land. I’ll get the bags.” The husband said nothing, but again nodded his head.
And, that was the conversation. That was it. Nothing else was said.
No words were spoken before the plane left the jetway.
No words were spoken during the flight.
And no words were spoken during the deplaning process.
